The International Conference on Bilingual Education will take place from the 15th to the 18th November 2016 on the Rectorate of the University of Córdoba.
This Conference has been designed to address at the following groups of people:
The organization of this Conference has established three modalities for participation:
Communications/papers delivered by researchers who present the results of their studies according to the 3 thematic lines of the Conference: A. Teaching and learning: new methodologies and resources. B. Intercultural education. C. Implementing bilingual programmes. The Scientific Committee of this Conference will evaluate and select a maximum of 10 proposals that will be published by the International Journal for 21st Century Education (first semester 2017). A monograph will also by published. Paper types will be divided into the following categories:
Oral Communications: 15 minutes + debate.
Posters: There will be a poster session allocated in the Conference Programme. Please set up your poster in advance at your designated poster space. You can set up your poster from the morning of 15th November. Poster presenters are asked to be at their display during the entire Poster Presentation session. Please note that the Conference host only provides the display space and it is your task to bring and display the title of your poster and any additional information relating to your presentation. You should also ensure that all your materials are removed at the end of the Conference.
On-line Communications: There is one session allocated in the Conference Programme through video-conference and organized according to the thematic lines.
Guest Symposia. Every symposium will be 90 minutes, and it will host between 4 and 6 communications each plus a debate. Their design will be purposefully focused on the development of a common topic. The coordinator (main speaker of the symposium) will present a general abstract and the participants (whose abstracts will be submitted to the Conference organizers by the coordinator).
This Conference also allows only-attendance.
Three main topics have been established for the Conference. The Scientific Committee may define others (if necessary) regarding the proposals received. These three topics (with corresponding sub-topics) are:

Curricular theories, models and approaches
Implementing bilingual programmes:
International, national and local educational policies
Educational norms within specific contexts
